SWEDISH LANDSCAPE

For me this is a delightfully striking impressionist landscape by Joseph Jungwirth, signed and dated 1940, a well listed Austrian born artist who moved to Stockholm toward the end of his life to be near his children.
I love the colour palette and the light in this painting, which is in good original condition albeit with a small repair patch to the back of the canvas, the stretcher bearing an original label in Swedish giving an indication of the whereabouts of this water/land scape but I’m afraid I am unable to translate!
