CUTLER’S TRADE SIGN

An early 20th Century double sided iron cutler’s trade sign, on an iron sheet. The shop also did ironing, umbrellas and general repairs. Original hanging hooks.

This characterful country store sign was locally made, possibly by the shop owner himself, the font is somewhat “folky” and the sign is rustic, showing its provincial origin, full of social history and all the more beautiful and endearing.
