FRENCH SILVER STANDARD LAMP
Dating to around 1910, this very unusual standard lamp combines classicism with the tail end of the Art Nouveau period. It is certainly of continental manufacture, probably French, and silver plated on solid brass.
The design is one of the smartest I’ve seen in a while, with the base elegantly terminating into 3 large paw feet.
The lamp was obviously rewired in the latter part of the 20th Century, and could probably do with rewiring again, although it is fully working at present.
